Carlton C. (Carl) Pilger is a member of Taylor English’s Employment, Labor & Immigration and Business Transactions, Corporate & Taxation groups and his practice encompasses all aspects of ERISA and employee benefits law, including health & welfare plans, pension plans and executive compensation agreements.
Mr. Pilger has represented a wide array of clients in all manner of employee benefit matters, including plan design, implementation and administration; compliance with DOL and IRS regulations; and COBRA, HIPAA and USERRA compliance and administration.
Mr. Pilger’s benefits practice includes representing corporate clients in federal agency compliance audits and investigations, correcting plan defects, addressing employee benefits issues in corporate transactions, and resolving plan participant disputes.
Before joining Taylor English, Mr. Pilger practiced as an ERISA associate at Fisher & Phillips and as an ERISA partner at Miller & Martin, two well-respected law firms in the Atlanta area. He has also served as in-house ERISA counsel with NOVA Information Systems nka Elavon, Inc., one of the world’s foremost debit and credit payment processors.
