
Brandon Hardy is a member of the Business Transactions, Corporate & Taxation group and practices in the areas of taxation, commercial real estate, commercial transactions and business organizations. Mr. Hardy’s practice primarily focuses in the area of taxation, where he provides his clients with federal and state tax planning on corporate and real estate based transactions, represents his clients in civil tax controversies, requests and negotiates penalty abatements and offers in compromise with the Internal Revenue Service and Georgia Department of Revenue, and assists his clients with obtaining available federal tax credits and incentives.
Mr. Hardy’s commercial real estate, commercial transactions, and business organizations practice gives him the opportunity to assist real estate developers in all phases of the acquisition, development, lease, finance and sale of commercial properties. In representing these developers, he also advises them on the type of entity and organizational structure that best suits their goals and objectives and assists them in implementing and maintaining the chosen entity. His real estate practice also includes the representation of lenders in foreclosing on residential and commercial properties.
Mr. Hardy joined Taylor English after practicing at Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele, LLP in its tax, commercial real estate and corporate tax practice groups. Prior to practicing law, Brandon worked as a financial analyst for Coca-Cola Enterprises, in its mergers and acquisitions department, from September 1999 through July 2003 and as an auditor for Arthur Andersen, LLP, in its Atlanta office, from September 1997 through September 1999.
